AC repair in metro Atlanta
Warm air, weak airflow, leaks, odd noises or a system that will not start, traced to the real cause.
When an air conditioner stops cooling, the cause is usually one of a short list: a failed capacitor or contactor, a dirty coil, a clogged drain, low refrigerant from a leak, or a control problem. We test the system and find the part that actually failed before replacing anything.
You get a plain explanation of what is wrong and what the fix involves before the work starts. If the system is old enough that a repair is poor value, we say so.
Common signs
- Blowing warm air
- Water around the indoor unit
- Frozen lines or coil
- Breaker keeps tripping
Questions
Why is my AC running but blowing warm air?
Common causes are a tripped outdoor unit, a failed capacitor, a dirty outdoor coil or low refrigerant. Check the thermostat is on Cool and the breaker is on. If it still blows warm, turn the system off so the compressor is not damaged, then call us.
Why is water leaking from my indoor unit?
Usually a clogged condensate drain line or a frozen coil that is thawing. Turn the system off and call; a blocked drain can overflow into ceilings and floors.
